Ventilating dryer
Cleaning, checking and maintenance

．Make sure the cleaning, checking and maintenance are done thoroughly and completely to ensure normal operation of the grain dryer and to prevent any accidents or fire. ．Please turn off the main power and hang “Operation Prohibited” warning sign on the control box before performing any cleaning, checking and maintenance. ．Please follow the local safety regulations before performing any cleaning, checking and maintenance. For example: wear safety helmet and safety belt… etc.

 

Position	Checking points
Burner	Clean out dust on flame sensor.	Use an air gun to clean
	Clean out soot on diffuser.
	Dust accumulation on air gate actuator, air gate and blade.
	Dust on inner and external part of burner set.
	Clean out dust inside of flame guider.
	Clean out dust around nozzle and electrode.
	Clean out dust at the bottom of protecting cover plate.
Hot air furnace	Keep floor clean under hot air furnace.
	Clean out soot in combustion chamber (Oil quality effects maintainace frequency). ※ Clean out soot accumulated immediately, otherwise, sparkle will occur and then cause fire.Do thorough inspection on burner, or contact with local distributor to confirm the accuracy of air gate scale, check whether under complete combustion, quality of fuel.Adjust or repair immediately if there are any abnormalities.
	Remove the dust from the inside, around and below the hot air blower assembly.
	Cleaning of heat exchanger
Hot air mixing chamber	Wipe out dust on combustion chamber.
	Clean out dust on the cover of hot air mixing chamber.
Drying bin	Clean the dust, chaff, rubbish paddy, straws on all mesh holes of the mesh plates. (More impurities lead to worse fuel quality and more frequent cleanings.)
	Be sure to clean up the dust and impurities under the mesh.
Oil filter	Replace cup and core of oil filter. (Oil quality effects exchange frequency)
	Clean or replace the mesh of oil filter.
V-belt	Adjust V-belt tension of the fan and check to make sure no damage.
Appearance	Clean up dust on exterior of dryer.

Circulating dryer
Cleaning, checking and maintenance

For example: wear safety helmet and safety belt… etc.

 

Position	Checking points
Burner	Clean out dust on flame sensor.	Use high-pressure air to clean out
	Clean out carbon on diffuser.
	Dust accumulation on air gate actuator, air gate and blade.
	Dust on inner and external part of burner set.
	Clean out dust inside of flame guider.
	Clean out dust around nozzle and electrode spark.
	Clean out dust at the bottom of protecting cover plate.
Hot air furnace	Keep floor clean under hot air furnace.
	Clean out carbon in combustion chamber. (Oil quality effects maintainace frequency) Please call distributor or SUNCUE if in serious condition.
	Clean out dust around, near and bottom of hot air furnace.
Hot air mixing chamber	Clean out dust in front mesh.
	Wipe out dust on blinds and combustion chamber.
	Clean out dust on the cover of hot air mixing chamber.
Fixing frame	Clean out dust on both right and left vents.
Drying section (Mesh seat)	Clean out the dust and chaff in hot air passages, exhausted passages and mesh. (Cleaning shall be more frequent if contains more impurities or uses poor quality fuel.)
	Dust and impurities on the sides of mesh seat shall be cleaned thoroughly.
	Clean out the dust and chaff in blower fixing frame.
	Use high-pressure air to clean out the dust and chaff outside of far infrared burner. Check if there is any deform of burner or paint crock.
Inside dryer	Clean out the dust on distributing screw conveyor, spreader, supporting rods, mesh seat and flow mesh plate.
	Clean out the dust in cleaning hole of bottom and mesh seat, also at the bottom of the elevator. (Cleaning should be more frequent if contains more impurities)
Oil filter	Replace cup and core of oil filter.(Oil quality effects exchange frequency)
	Clean or replace the mesh of oil filter.
V-belt	Adjust belt tension and check breakage status on blower, elevator,bottom seat.
Elevator	Adjust tension of bucket belt and calibrate with center line.
Appearance	Clean up dust on exterior of dryer.
